Vintage Japanese Porcelain Ink Well/ Trinket Box

Description

Vintage or antique Japanese ink well or trinket box.
Measures 2.6" wide x 2.2 deep and 1.7" high with lid on.
Beautiful and very decorative cobalt blue porcelain box, framed and decorated with japanese motifs-four phoenixes rising toward the sun, with two phoenixes already encircling the sun.
Bottom is marked but I do not know the meaning of the mark.
One corner of the lid has a spot where the glaze and color is missing. The spot feels very smooth and does not feel like a chip.
The inside rim of the bottom part has a few chips.
