    Description

    Vintage Large 16” Asian Lacquerware Jewelry Box Chest Cabinet Brass Hardware Birds Flowers.
    The lid lifts to reveal the main compartment which has a mirror and hooks for hanging items. The top drawer is a faux drawer from the outside, as it borders the main compartment which is accessed from the top.
    The front cabinet doors open to access the three additional drawers. Inner dimensions of the three drawers 11” x 5 1/2”.
    Overall very nice and appears unused. Everything is secure and structurally sound.
    There are some tiny nicks to the finish in places and there are fine age wrinkles/crackles visible below the surface of the lacquer when viewed up close, which I have tried to capture in the pictures. The wood under the base is marked Made in Taiwan.
    One of the tiny brass brads that secures the front medallion was replaced with a nickel toned brad at some point.
