  • Condition: Exterior finish is good with light rubbing at bottom corners, and one small chipped corner. Lid exterior is good, but finish on underside of lead shows cracking & peeling with some missing chips. There are no repairs, or off odors.

    Description

    This is a vintage or antique trinket or cigarette box with removeable lid.   I believe this is made of hand carved lacquer or cinnabar.  It is dark brown in color, and top of lid has a floral pattern.  I do not know what the body of the box is made from.   Box is bottom marked CHINA.  Box measures 3-5/8" x 5-1/8" x 1-7/8".   Other than the finish damage on underside of lid box is in good used condition.   There are no off odors.
