An editorial
protest the state firing laborers- "freemen"-
who voted for the Democratic ticket.
There is a report of the unruly crowds gathered
for the spectacle of an
Indian Dance,
which featured the great
chiefs Black Hawk and Keokuck.
The last page is filled with ads and notices.
The paper has 4 pages; each page is 25 ½” by 19”.
It’s in very good condition, but for some foxing.
There are no marks or tears except for a name at the top.
The paper is soft with a high rag content
so the folds ae not troublesome.
It will be mailed folded into 1/4 on an old fold.
