Up for sale is an original issue of the New York Tribune newspaper dated August 26, 1858. Page 5 of the vintage newspaper has a 1c headline about the first debate between Lincoln and Douglas. The Great Debate as the article calls it continues on pages 6 and 7. The entire debated is printed in the paper on pages 5, 6 and 7. This newspaper is 16”x21” and is in good condition. There are a few vintage tape repairs in a few places. The largest one is on page two. This was done many many years ago. This is an outstanding newspaper for the American  history collector.
