The paper on p. 2 reports of actions by
President James Monroe
and the Congress regarding provisions and particulars for the
newly acquired territory of Florida,
ceded by a treaty negotiated by
Secretary of State John Quincy Adams
less than two weeks earlier from Spain.
There's a letter from
General Andrew Jackson
(already campaigning for President),
thanking the mayor, council and city for their generous reception.
This was certainly regarding  his role in the very recent
Seminole War in Florida.
There are other brief news reports.
The rest of the paper is a multitude of advertisements and notices.

somewhat browned with minor foxing.
It was removed from a volume.
