PLEASE READ OUR ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY PRIOR TO PURCHASING THIS ITEM, OR ASKING A QUESTION. THIS IS A BRAND NEW GENUINE FUEL SENSOR FLOAT UPDATE KIT. THIS CURES THE COMMON PROBLEM OF THE FUEL GAUGE SENSOR NOT READING DUE TO THE LOSS OF A MAGNET IN THE FLOAT FALLING OUT. IF YOUR GAUGE IS NOT READING, 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 IT IS THE FLOAT IS FAULTY, THIS CURES THE MAGNET LOSS ISSUE IN THE FLOAT WITH AN UPDATED DESIGN. THIS WILL REPLACE MOST CARBURETED MODEL FUEL SENDER FLOATS. TYPICALLY THE CAP ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SENDER WILL POP OFF AS IT IS HELD ON BY 3 SMALL TABS AND YOU SWAP THE FLOATS OUT (NOTE SOME OLDER MODEL UNITS HAD A CAP THAT WAS MELTED ON AND IT HAS TO BE POPPED OFF AND GLUED OR REMELTED ON TO INSTALL THIS).
