    Description

Native American Nez Perce Indian photographs and postcards. One shows a family in a car and the other of a man in full traditional dress. The back of the first postcard gives us this information about the image: "Group of Nez Perce. This Nez Perce family was posed in the three-seater just outside of Spokane, Washington, by resort photographer Palmer. The photograph was intended to illustrate the infringement of technology on a simpler way of life. Photographed in 1916 by Frank Palmer." These were both likely taken in the Pacific Northwest area of Washington and Northern Idaho. Size of largest is 6" x 4 1/2", smallest is 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
