    This patch honors a girl who has earned her Gold Award. The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award in Senior/Ambassador Girl Scouting. This leadership award can be earned when she is a Senior or Ambassador scout.
    This patch is the style that came out after 2011. Lovely gold-colored thread on the award symbol, the words and the edging.
    Some girls sew it on the back of their uniform vest or sash. It could also be turned into a hanging ornament or framed with a scout's photo.
