Fine Chinese Cinnabar Red Lacquer Carved Round Seal Paste Scholar Art Box

Up for auction is this fine vintage 20th C Chinese carved red cinnabar lacquer round seal paste box. It has deeply carved peony flower and foliage with vine scroll details on the sides. The base is also carved very nicely.
Not terribly old - probably 1970s or 1980s but a fine deeply carved real cinnabar box with many many layers of cinnabar lacquer. Very beautiful piece!
Comes from a high end estate and one of many wonderful Chinese cinnabar carved arts available this week as shown in the last photo!
Measures 2.6” inches in diameter and 1.7” inches tall (6.6 cm, 4.3 cm).
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
