3 VERY RARE Vintage Girl Scout WWII-SENIOR SERVICE SCOUT-ADULT SERVICE-PIN 1941

This is for 3 RARE WWII Items. The SENIOR SERVICE SCOUT (SSS) Patch was designed in 1941 for WWII. Girl Scouts USA developed an incentive program for Senior Girl Scouts to become more actively involved in national defense activities. After a training, a Girl Scout could received an SSS PATCH. The “S” PATCH was for an ADULT. They are the RARER ones. The PIN was made in 1943 and could be earned by all levels of Scouting who are working with the local Service Bureau. I’ve included a picture of it from a GS Museum Page. The Pin is red enameled with a J Hook for closing. There is a little discoloration in it in a few spots but no major loss of paint. It has.an “R” Hallmark on the Back. I’ve had these in my collection for over 40 years. This is great to have these all together in your collection. Please see pictures for Condition and Measurements.
