Besides being know for very high quality dance costumes and cheer uniforms, Satin Stitches is known for fabulously designed and crafted head-pieces/hats/hair decorations. This set of 3 one-of-a-kind prototype/samples were actually created for dance teams, in the past.
The Red-Orange-Gold flame piece has rows of metallic sequin trim stitched on a layer of buckram (the red and gold are spotlight-hologram sequins) with twill-tape loops hot-glued onto the back for bobby-pin attaching. This flame piece was to fit around a hair bun.
The gold Mystique 6 pointed star has stiff buckram inserted between the fabric layers. The edges are serged for a beautiful finished look, and hundreds of crystal permanently heat-fused Swarovski rhinestones are accenting this piece (which was changed somewhat, for production) in sizes #20 and size #34. This piece could also be used to accent a costume, such as over the shoulder.
The third piece features bendable wire inside an earth-toned velvet fabric, with hunter green and copper sequined trim and custom leaves that are made of matching sequin and beaded trim. This piece was to be worn as a crown on the head, and has twill-tape loops hot-glued for bobby-pin attaching. This is a stunning couture-quality design!
