Cook with nurseries near Cincinnati, but also in California) and seeds (including Osage Orange hedges), farm lands, railroads (2: Little Miami and Columbus & Xenia and Cincinnati, Hamilton & Dayton; Ohio & Mississippi). Major Winthrop advises volunteer soldiers to pay attention to the health of their feet. Much information about crops. Sanford (raised in Kentucky) started this publication in 1856 - with a subtitle “Devoted to the Interests of the Farmer, the Gardener, and the Orchardist.”
