    Description

"Circus" is simply the name for this group managed by a Mr. Cowell. Many great acts such as: HUnted Tailor, Timour the Tartar, Peasants' Frolic, Still Vaulting and more.  Also, there are at least 8 different slave adverts with 4 of giving the sur names. Each of these ads is very descriptive as to physical features and clothes worn plus other info.  This issue has two important President Monroe reports.  One concerns the treaty of the U.S. with the Sock & Fox Native Tribes. The other report gives the details of another treaty between the U.S. and Ioway Natives.  Much more interesting news in this original Jan. 21, 1825 issue of the Daily National Intelligencer newspaper.  The condition is excellent.
